Fisheagle Geotechnique was created when Frans Visser, after more than 25 years in the Geotechnical Construction industry, decided to strike out on his own. During his years at Dura Soletanche Bachy, he developed a feeling and passion for Geotechnical Engineering, with an understanding of what solutions work practically in the field.
He was involved in various major projects over the years, including some of the largest piling contracts ever carried out in Southern Africa, from designing, tendering and construction aspects.
Projects he was involved in include Alusaf, Mozal Phase 1 and 2, Saldanha Steel Project, KCM Smelter & Concentrator and the Gautrain Project. He was also involved with a variety of Marine projects such as the Moma Jetty, and various projects in both the Durban and Richards Bay Harbours.
